Unofficial List of Shooting Victims Emerges

Officials have not yet released a formal list of the names of the victims, however survivors, friends and family and online tributes have begun naming the dead.

Reports said the first two of the gunman's victims in the quiet town of Blacksburg were students Emily Hilscher and Ryan Clark, known as "Stack" on campus.

It is thought they were killed at the West Ambler Johnston Hall - the scene of the first shootings at the campus college in south-west Virginia state. The hall is a mixed dormitory housing almost 900 students.

The first shootings were reported to police at 7.15am. Officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman, and believed the gunman had fled. Just over two hours later, he killed 30 people at Norris Hall, an engineering building on the campus half a mile away.

Leo Prime - Classics - Figure

The Supreme Commander of the beasts is back. Leo Convoy is now Leo Prime. In the Transformers Classic Legends serise we have been getting more, Leo Prime has come to Hasbro, I think it is the first time too. Beast Wars Neo was a Japanese series with Japanese toys so this is the first US version of Leo Prime/Convoy we ever got. I got him in Australia in the Big W store and I got Perceptor, Trypticon and Fireflight so I got the whole wave 1 Legends series or actually wave 5 if you listen to the package, it says series 5 and that means wave five, and we continue in wave six for wave six. Strength:10 Intelligence:10 Speed:10 Endurance:10 Rank:10 Courage: 10 Fireblast:10 Skill:10 Package The package is quite small. At the front we see the figure packaged in robot mode and the word Autobot and under that it says his name LEO PRIME.

Bug Bowl, Boiler Barnyard highlight Spring Fest

Along with the crowd, visitors to this year's annual Spring Fest will find cockroach races, robotic beetle battles and tidal pools filled with starfish and sea urchins.

Spring Fest is a joint effort by many of the departments on campus and provides visitors with hands-on learning activities in the areas of science and more.

"We have nearly every college and department on campus providing educational activities," said Danica Kirkpatrick, organizer of the event. "The goal is to provide an event showcasing the lighter side of education."

The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days and will have events spread over 29 on-campus sites. Spring Fest is free and students of all ages are invited to attend.

Some of these activities include the Department of Entomology's 15th Annual Entomology Bug Bowl, the Department of Animal Science's Boiler Barnyard and the Department of Food Science's Food Science Fun Fair.

TECHNOLOGY TRADER

SNOOPY'S DOGHOUSE HAS A BLOOMBERG. Jim Cramer spills Wall Street's secrets to Joe Twelvepack. Everybody subscribes to Barron's -- or claims to, when they're threatening to cancel after one of my stories.

So where can you go these days to get an information edge? There's still fieldwork: you can nab suppliers at trade shows; poll the early returns among nurses or salespeople. And if you've got the bucks, you can commission Gerson Lehrman Group to survey a panel of phrenologists.

But why leave your chair when the Internet is hosting millions of Web pages of government data, blogs and industry ...
